*Immediately after Yuma and Yuya are both taken to the infirmary to get treatment...
Labrys walks outside after making sure Yuya was getting taken care of. It's likely that the both of them are going to have to take time to recover, which means... She makes a sound to herself. Of disappointment, anger, and frustration.*

[Alex is feeling a lot of things right now. Anger (well, she's always feeling that), maybe a couple hints of betrayal. But upon seeing that expression, she can't help but soften up a bit.]
...are you okay?
no subject
No. I'm sorry. There are... a lot of things on my mind. Some things I've heard. Some things I remember, thanks to today.

Aegis, and Achilles. They told me things, about their... encounter with your group. I know that one of the boys in there managed to help defeat them. I guess I can't help but be a little impressed there, but... That isn't the point.
The point is. They told me that they informed you and your friends, your allies, that we used to have allies of our own. People who tried to stand by us, despite the odds. Despite the risks. ... I've witnessed something similar what happened to Yuma Tsukumo, before, to our allies.

They warned us about what the Astrals are capable of.
[...]
But then, the Astrals didn't do this to Yuma, did they.

*she bows her head* I apologize. I could not predict that this could have occurred, when I handed him that card. Even with my warning, it's no excuse for my part in this.

You can see the future, right?

My strange properties only allow me to see successes. It allows me to see what could be considered the best path, even if sometimes, that path has pitfalls. It allows me to have confidence in what I do, and in what others decide to do. It's why I could trust that boy to dispel the chaotic energy himself.
As a result though... I can't see the dangers. I can't see the risks. I can only react to them as they come. ... Even with my faith, I was still worried about what might happen.

...
[Alexandra's hands shake. Her voice does as well. She looks and sounds a little bit scared.]
Can you see if I'm about to forgive you or if I'm about to attack you?
no subject
Even if I were capable of that... I wouldn't want to. I don't try to predict what others do-- that would be manipulative of me, and the last thing I would want to do... is lower myself to having to do that.
I will take anything you decide to do. And I will react how I see fit. That is my only position.

...
[She takes a step forward towards Labrys.]

... Does this mean... That you forgive me?
no subject
But I know Yuma probably wouldn't be alive if not for you.
And Yuya and Yuma are always talking about not holding grudges or seeking revenge.
So.
I'm hugging you instead of attacking you.
no subject
I'll... Accept that uncertainty, if you don't mind.
no subject
[After a moment, she lets go and backs away.]
...so. They told you.
Right?
no subject
Yes. They told me.
... I don't think I need to say how much it hurts to hear it. To hear that Scythe went through that...
... Was there... Any of his weapon left?
no subject
[Alex reaches into her pocket. She pulls out a small fragment of rusted, cracked metal.]
I. Picked this one up. There were other fragments. I don't know where they are now.
no subject
... I guess a part of me... Wishes that we could have found him. Maybe we could have had hope that Failnaught could restore him, but...
*she gives a sound that's like. she's laughing, but it's that sad laugh of "why are we in this situation at all, this is too much"* That was a lofty hope, regardless. We don't have the resources anymore to do that, even if his weapon wasn't in that type of state.

He was so in pain. He was so...broken by what had been done to him...
[She sniffs.]
...he asked me. To end his pain.
no subject
Thank you. I know it must've been hard... But you did a great service for him. You allowed him to pass on his power, and his will. In a sense... That's the only way he could have allowed even a small part of himself to survive.
no subject
...I...
I made him a promise. Before he was gone.

[She clenches her hand into a fist.]
...that I would change the Barians' fate.
