*Immediately after Yuma and Yuya are both taken to the infirmary to get treatment...
Labrys walks outside after making sure Yuya was getting taken care of. It's likely that the both of them are going to have to take time to recover, which means... She makes a sound to herself. Of disappointment, anger, and frustration.*

... Does this mean... That you forgive me?

But I know Yuma probably wouldn't be alive if not for you.
And Yuya and Yuma are always talking about not holding grudges or seeking revenge.
So.
I'm hugging you instead of attacking you.
no subject
I'll... Accept that uncertainty, if you don't mind.

[After a moment, she lets go and backs away.]
...so. They told you.
Right?
no subject
Yes. They told me.
... I don't think I need to say how much it hurts to hear it. To hear that Scythe went through that...
... Was there... Any of his weapon left?
no subject
[Alex reaches into her pocket. She pulls out a small fragment of rusted, cracked metal.]
I. Picked this one up. There were other fragments. I don't know where they are now.

... I guess a part of me... Wishes that we could have found him. Maybe we could have had hope that Failnaught could restore him, but...
*she gives a sound that's like. she's laughing, but it's that sad laugh of "why are we in this situation at all, this is too much"* That was a lofty hope, regardless. We don't have the resources anymore to do that, even if his weapon wasn't in that type of state.

He was so in pain. He was so...broken by what had been done to him...
[She sniffs.]
...he asked me. To end his pain.
no subject
Thank you. I know it must've been hard... But you did a great service for him. You allowed him to pass on his power, and his will. In a sense... That's the only way he could have allowed even a small part of himself to survive.
no subject
...I...
I made him a promise. Before he was gone.

[She clenches her hand into a fist.]
...that I would change the Barians' fate.
no subject
Honestly... it's something I want to hope you can do, too. Our fate is our own, but... There's no point in being prideful over it, when there's only a handful of us left.
no subject
...I think it's important that we don't fight over the Legendary Numbers anymore.
We have real reason to believe they shouldn't be tampered with. The consequences could be really dire.
no subject
I'll be honest. After what happened today, I'll... need to look into something. I have... Let's call them "suspicions", but they're suspicions I can't really act on in my current situation.
I won't make any promises I can't keep, but I can promise you that I will not fight for another one of the Legendary Numbers. There are too many uncertainties about things right now for me to do so with any confidence.
no subject
Does this have to do with that other person that was there?
no subject
It's why I need to look into this, myself. I might be able to convince Aegis and Achilles to at least hold back on this, but the one who's left...
Well. He's the most difficult one to really talk to, anymore.
no subject
...
...you mean.
The one who holds Number 104.
no subject
Where exactly did you hear that?
no subject
They said they were tricked and trapped by the holder of 104.
no subject
Thank you, for telling me this. If Scythe said that, then... *... she raises her hand to her arm*
... I can't linger here for too much longer. I will likely return in some days-- to give my proper apologies to Yuma Tsukumo, and to the one who helped him.
But rest assure, what you've said here right now... I'll be keeping it in mind.

no subject
But once I know, I'll find you. This is as much your business as it is for the rest of us, now.
*she holds out her hand, as a gateway opens up by her-- the same kind she flipped Caduceus into before*
no subject
...
Good luck, Labrys.
