*Whatever, and whenever the case may be. Labrys is still on Earth.
She rather quickly left the site of the Momentum plant once everyone had returned, with nary a word nor a glance towards them.
A part of her says... she should leave this planet as soon as possible. She shouldn't be here, and the longer she is, the worse it'll be. But another part of her, perhaps, wants to just be able to look up at the night sky.
As a result, she can be found either in the park-- empty due to how late it is, or at the top of a building that's a few stories high, somewhere in a more deserted part of town. She somewhat sticks out like a sore thumb, thanks not only to her red hair, but also the armor she seems to be wearing.*

...what happened to them?

... If it weren't for her brother managing to break through and taking them by surprise to escape, that would've been her end. Given the circumstances, she would've been no safer here than she would have been back at our home, where those demons invade constantly.
It's only after that, that they were able to contact me about this situation. *... you feel like even her using specifications like "her" and "her brother" is probably more than she's even comfortable saying. and that those... things are pretty much a daily occurrence...*
no subject
...h-how constantly is...constantly.
Are you fighting ones on the level of those two that were at the reactor...all the time?
no subject
Some days, they won't appear. Those are peaceful days, but rare and far apart. Most days, it's only minor ones-- weak, but still in high numbers. If they're not curbed, they will quickly over-run the area. It's likely that those demons intended on doing that with this world.
... Some days, it's ones similar to those who attacked. The only difference is, where I'm from, the demons don't need to open any doors to let others in. They just come.
*... she turns around, a hand moving up to her arm, and squeezing slightly, like she's... restraining herself.*

[Alex rubs her own arm. She looks away. A few minutes ago, she was suspicious of Labrys and now she feels like a real heel for that. The full picture is coming into place here. Labrys has been fighting these things for a long time. And her and her allies are here...what? To stop the demons from coming here as well?
Her hand clenches into a fist. She's not sure what to say.]
...I'm sorry.
[Still doesn't really do it justice.]
no subject
... But... I suppose I wouldn't have wanted to see another world get over-run by those creatures, regardless. It's peaceful here, compared to my home. It's pure selfishness, that I'm even still here.

no subject
... I'm sorry. We can't live here. Not as we are right now.
no subject
Lots of people have done it. I mean, that was mostly Duel Monsters, but....this planet can be really accepting of lots of different kind of people, you know.
no subject
If it were just a matter of acceptance, of simply being accepted by this world and it's people, it'd be a different story.
But... As we are right now, we can't live here. We wouldn't survive.
no subject
[Alex's mouth hangs open for a second.]
Wh...why not? You sure looked fine when you were cutting that demon in half!
no subject
... And I, in particular, have a problem that the others don't.
no subject
no subject
... This world is familiar with the concept of time, correct? I would assume so, since you have a cycle going from day to night.
I have a particular... ability. I won't go into details, but my being is very closely tied with time, and fate.
But as a result, if I don't restrain myself... I suppose the best way to put it is that time will go "wrong", around me. Perhaps it'll stop. Perhaps it'll accelerate. Perhaps it'll even reverse.
What I do know is, my presence here for too long, is a danger. Even if I had wanted to stay here, I would never be able to rest, here. I would never be able to live here, while I am like this.

Alex quietly gulps. She looks over at Galaxy-Eyes, who growls slightly. The weight of this story has hit them both pretty hard. Alex can't help but feel like the night after she bonded with Galaxy-Eyes all over again.]
...
S-so...what're you going to do? Are you going to just. Go back to your world with your allies and...keep fighting?
no subject
... But it's fine. It might sound like an endless cycle to you, but we have our own goal. We've always been striving towards it.
no subject
What is it?
no subject
*she shakes her head* I can tell you that when we succeed, my presence will no longer be a danger. I will no longer need to worry so much, about the threat of those demons, at my home.
no subject
....w-well. I get that you don't wanna tell me, but...
[She rubs her arm.]
You helped us today. And, you gave Yuma the power he needed to defeat that thing when I was unable to step in and help him myself. So. I owe you one. And...even if it's a different species. [She crosses her arm.] There's too few Galaxy-Eyes left for me to pick and choose which ones I deal with, y'know?
So.
I guess. I'll help you with your goal. If I can. Just to pay you back.
no subject
... I'll likely have to come back here, sometime soon. I don't know the exacts, but...
I'll give you my answer to that, at that time.
no subject
'Cause I'm really tired.
And I think I'm gonna sleep on this tree now.
no subject
... You are more than welcome to. I'll take my leave.
*... ...* Thank you, though. For listening, and offering.
*she turns and goes, leaving you to your sleeping on trees.*

[She nods and as Labrys leaves, she adds, quietly,] Good luck.
[Then, she lets out a little sigh. Satisfied this time there won't be any more interruptions, she pulls something out of her jacket pocket. It's a small bottle of oil. She pours some out on to her fingers. Then, a blue glow surrounds her hand, heating it up. The oil burns and releases rosemary-scented smoke, which she, and thus Galaxy-Eyes breathes in, slowly and rhythmically. After a few moments of this, Alex sits back against the tree.]
...we really gotta... [She yawns.] Go back to that curio store and pay for this stuff eventually...
no subject
"Eventually. Yes."
[Galaxy-Eyes lays down next to Alexandra, curling up around her, one of its wings covering her body. Even as an apparition, it's solid enough to cover Alex in this state.
They're both asleep in a few moments.]
