*Whatever, and whenever the case may be. Labrys is still on Earth.

She rather quickly left the site of the Momentum plant once everyone had returned, with nary a word nor a glance towards them.

A part of her says... she should leave this planet as soon as possible. She shouldn't be here, and the longer she is, the worse it'll be. But another part of her, perhaps, wants to just be able to look up at the night sky.

As a result, she can be found either in the park-- empty due to how late it is, or at the top of a building that's a few stories high, somewhere in a more deserted part of town. She somewhat sticks out like a sore thumb, thanks not only to her red hair, but also the armor she seems to be wearing.*

Where I am from, is considered to be a food source to them, correct. Anything, everything is a food source for those demons.

This world was just another possible option.

"Well that's... a little fucked. Glad ya intervened then. Where're ya from anyway?"

He waves a hand back up at the sky. "I'm from a place that, ah. Ain't really 'round anymore. Kingdom o' Azure Flames, which, now that I think 'bout it, wasn't exactly a clever name."

... Sorry. You have told me where you're from, but I don't find any reason to state where I'm from. As it is, I've spoken much more than I would've like.

"What, really?" He grins wider now. "What the hell are ya scared of? Some crazy guy ramblin' off yer secret stuff? Maybe I can 'elp ya an' yer mysterious associates go demon 'untin' or whatever it is that ya do. 'course, you're gonna say somethin' like 'I don't need help' so I dunno why I'm fuckin' talkin' still. Probably the concussion."

This isn't a point of me having pride, or not desiring help. It's an assessment of your abilities.

I, out of my associates, am the only one capable of fully destroying those creatures.

"Oh, so they're some sorta immortal things? That's a bitch. Ya thought 'bout lockin' 'em up? I could maybe 'elp on that front. My flame's good fer at least that."

Locking them up would also likely have no effect in the long-term.

Their presence warps the area around them. Any prison would eventually be beyond recognition.

"May be worth a shot. Sometime." He runs a hand through his hair and takes his cigarette out of his mouth, burning what's left to ash and dropping it off the side of the building before lighting another one.

"So, what gives ya the chops ta kill space warpin' things from outside the known universe?"

"The chops"? I'm unfamiliar with your dialect and terminology. You're going to have to phrase the question a bit more clearly.

*she says that like a teacher disciplining a student.*

Oh Teacher tell me I've... No gonna just ignore those thoughts.

"Yer, ah... ability to, I guess? What's settin' ya apart from 'em?"

I have no reason to go into specifics. The most I'm willing to say is that I am the anti-thesis to those demons.

My associates would also have the same capabilities, but they're not strong enough to overpower them. I'm the only one with the strength and skill to do so.

"So what yer sayin' is that if they do another assault we'd be completely fucked without ya guys? Good ta know that mysterious women who ain't talkin' 'bout anythin' are our only 'ope."

A boy, "Zexal", has the same power to permanently kill those demons. He is of this world.

"...Is 'e one of the ones with the weird 'air?"

... Yes, that's an accurate way to put it.

"Then we'll be fine then. The bigger question is yer stake 'ere then. If we've got someone 'oo can do it, what are ya an' yer associates doin' 'ere? I mean, I assume yer gonna stay tight lipped on it. Jus' askin' questions I ain't 'specting any answers ta."

My associates were here for a different purpose.

I only came at their behest, due to the presence of the demons. ... *she casts her gaze downwards* One of them had been attacked. I wanted to make certain that wouldn't happen again.

"Oh, I'm... Sorry Labrys. Are yer people safe?"

*that's a loaded question in a lot of ways.*

I can say that the associate in particular is safe, now. The one who had attacked her, especially, is gone.

"Took 'em out tonight?" He waves again at the debris.

"'sgood at least. What 'bout the others?"

... The others aren't so safe.

Where I'm from, those demons are a regular occurrence. That's all I'll tell you.

"'smore than I could 'ope ta get outta ya honestly. Earth's pretty fuckin' sucky as a colony though. Looked at it myself."

... Then it's a good thing I have no intention of staying here.

"Even better. Ya gonna go back ta whatever place ya an' the 'demons' share?"

We don't share with the demons. They're invaders, simple as that.

... But yes, I'll be returning to my home soon enough.
